Which seats are compatible with the 2000 Excursion? i.e. unbolt old ones, bolt in new ones, nothing else required
I have a 2000 LTD, gray interior but the front seats are now in dismal condition. I think that the Black leather from the F250/250 Harley Davidson edition trucks would actually look fairly decent.
Are these seats compatible? Specifically for example if I got those out of a 2006 F250? (I see a couple on eBay for sale right now).
Also, although the front seats are the more pressing concern, I would like to swap out the middle row seats as well with the F250 Harley edition seats as well.
Is there anything that would make this swap not work, or be a general 'PITA' to complete?
The single cab, or the quad cab seats will bolt up. Some have already added the 08 center console.(I think Monsta is one) The other option is just to find the leather off the seats or even get custom from an upholstery shop.(Some have gone that route, just don't remember user name on that one though)
I had thought of going the 'leather only' route, but, it seems you have to literally disassemble the entire chair in order to really get at the leather. Definitely a more time consuming job.
Just curious since we are on the subject of seats,
does the center jump seat out of a superduty fit in our excursions?
Yes, but the arm rests on the captains chair will be in the way. They can be removed and then the post that is welded on to the seat has to be cut off. The result is a hole left to cover or cap. Plus they are harder to find on their own. Most wreckers that I have talked to want to sell the seat as a complete set. 40/20/40.
Replacing as a set is the easiest way, just not cheapest.

By quad cab you mean Crew Cab, right? The extended cab (Quad Cab according to Dodge) has integrated seat belts. they'd still work but it'd kinda redundant.

Yup! And I love it!
That's correct, crew cab. Looking at to many trucks lately and getting all confused. My younger brother is looking, and I have suggested the fords, but it is up to him. We are waiting on one owner of an X here in town to get back to us with a price, to see if it is worth it.
Reviving an old thread. I would like to replace the driver and passenger seats in my 2003 Excursion with ones that have adjustable head rests. I have found a set of seats from a 2011 F250 with the center fold seat included.
Will these bolt in? If not, what years do I need to look for? I am actually wanting to get away from the electric seats to the manual seats, as mine have just quit. My drivers seat is stuck in the very far back position, making it impossible for my wife to drive it. Good for me, I am 6'6".
Looking at purchasing 2008 F350 king ranch front and rear seats/ center console/steering wheel to put in my 2006 F250 just trying to confirm that all will bolt in, both extended cabs. Thanks for any help..
