Well, I'm still working on that truck and it is coming along nicely. However, there is one code that I can't figure out.
P1118
I have tried the search function and it didn't come up with anything so I figured I would post and see if you guys had any ideas. The other two I believe are:
P0470 manifold pressure
P0231 I don't remember
I believe those other two codes are correct, but I'm not one hundred percent positive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
0231 Fuel Pump Relay Driver Circuit Failure
0470 Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
1118 Manifold Air Temperature Sensor Low Input
Make sure to clear the codes and see if they come back. Sometimes these trucks will give you all sorts of codes, especially if you run across a low battery situation. Also, Guzzle has a DTC code listing on his website that lists more codes than my manual does.
Many thanks Chris, I have cleared them multiple times and they keep coming back. Except for the 0231, I must have that one confused with another one. When we had pulled the dash out to completely detail the truck and put it back in, Dad had forgotten to plug the fuel pump reset back in and bolt the grounds back down beside it and he was wondering why the truck wouldn't rev up when he hit the accelerator. I told him that it worked better when the fuel pump was plugged in. LOL
