Blew the 302 in my 95 f250. Not concerned with mechanical issues too much. Can I use same computer is big question. I understand firing order is same. I think it should work fine.
Sorry, that makes no sense. How about this? My 302 in my 95 f250 gave out. Cracked cylinder bore, eaten-up crank and other broken components. I would like to replace it with a 351. I want more power of course. Would my existing computer work for a 351? How about all the connectors? I understand that the firing order is the same between the two engines.
Next, although I don't have a specific answer to your question, I would suggest that you scroll down the main forum page. There are forums specifically for '87-'96 (I think those are the years) heavy-duty trucks and also for small block v8's.
If you re-post in those forums you should get some good answers from some knowledgeable people.
