I am misssing one of my door handles off my 51 F 7. This was a custom built truck so I am not sure if they used a new Ford door handle off the shelf and made modifications to it or not. I think it looks like a 51 handle except for the way it attaches to the door. I send one to a casting company for a copy but it was around $140 and i would have to finish it and have it chromed .... probably $100 more to the bill. I think that's too much $$$ considering I only paid $800 for the whole truck!!
Any help would greatly be appreciated!!
They look like mid '30s Ford handles. You could check in the '47 and older forum on FTE or the Ford Barn site. I bet you'll find your answer in one of those two. I'm sure you can find the handls for a lot less than $250. Good luck.
I surfed eBay and the '30 and '40s handles I found didn't look like the handle you're looking for, none of them had the curve in them or they didn't have the long neck. However, I did find a couple of GM handles that came close:
I also checked out The Filling Station site, they sell, umm, C***y parts, (I felt so dirty going there)the handle for the other brands pickups look pretty close also.

Early Church for you in the morning MISTER!
Likewise on e-bay (good idea Bob) I found a 1938 Ford car handle that looks pretty close, but it looks like it sits a little closer to the door - not extended out quite so much. Take a look:
They don't look quite the same to me as yours either - a little more girth. But, at least you have lots of choices now. If I had a fire truck (which I think is really cool) I might be tempted to put those 32 3W handles (with the locks hint hint) on it. those are pretty neat looking.
