...a diagram of some type that will show me the different styles of end flanges' used on early 9" axle housings with dimentions...
I thought I found one "somewhere" on this site and saved it to my computer but now I can't find it...of course...

Any help would be great...

That is the one I thought I saved to my PC but now I can't find it!
Can you send that to me? I tried to cut & paste from your post but
it won't let me...

From what I can see from that pictorial I might have the
Late Torino Large Bearing axle...
...
Damn thing is givin' me a run-for-my-money commin' apart...
Gonna go try it again...will report back after The_Girl makes
a "run" to the beer store for me...

I have in my project 54, the first, big early, and I want to install disk brakes for the next to the right (late/torino). the first uses the big bolts, the second uses the small bolts.
So, I think I drill out the backing plate for the larger bolts and spacing
