Question Just for Fun

Can anyone ID this truck? It's just sittin' on a farm in N. Dakota. Might be fun tryin' to restore it.

I took the pic last fall but I couldn't remember what it was...must be gettin' old . It does look kind of like a 26 Ford.

Most definitely! Probably require a pretty good size budget.

I would have to agree and say a Ford. I can make out a oval on the front grill shell (I know ford didnt have the blue oval then but it just looks Fordish to me, that is unless they did and im too tired to think straight)

I'll give you the details after a few others try and figure it out. Look closer at that grill would be the first hint.

Must be refering to the light suport bar across the grill. The tall cab would suggest a 25 or 26? It's got to be a 1 ton or bigger farm truck. The oval thing on the radiator?

I searched the net for '25-31 Chevs. The light bar looks like a '28-29 but the fenders look newer. The older ones had a rid running along the edge of the fenders. None of the images I found actually seemed have the same fenders for the same years. I didn't find anything with a cowl like that.

You've got me stumped.

Looks like a late 20's Dorkmobile - especially with the Outhouse style cab.

Not sure what the truck is, I just know that I want it.

The pic reminds me of when I first got my truck and I was taking pics of it. My son was maybe 6 at the time and managed to fanangle his way into every shot I took of it. No matter which way I turned, there was his little smiling face poking into the picture....lol

Always makes me smile when I go back and look at them

Bobby

I`m with havi, it`s likely a gm, a Dorkmobile or the world`s first ever rat rod truck....

It's a Chebby but I don't recall the Cab being so tall. The Grille is Chebby. My best friend needs that 40 Chevy front clip.....
