3" down pipe

So i been trying to find a company or someone that could either make or have a 3inch down pipe that would clamp on to the factory turbo with a lil less of a price as the ats setup... and well jus a few minutes ago i got of the phone with Banks and i asked for part #52103...which he stated they still had instock and just to verify i asked if it was the 3 inch downpipe that clamped on to the stock turbo for the idi engine and the representative stated that was it.. i paid $118.00 for the part dilevered to my house so hopefully it should be here next friday...

thought i would put it out there if anyone was interested...

I just got a 3 inch upgrade for a 94 factory turbo I bought to put on my 85. The cost for the 3 inch elbow and the down pipe was 280, plus shipping from ATS. Also got the seal kit which included all grommets for the cdr and orings for the pedistel (sp) cost was 60 plus shipping. Grand total 374.05 to my door. Two days from order to receiving, I'm happy.

WEll ill let ya know whats up with it as soon as i get the thing... i donno if ima wait to install it with a complete exhaust or try to make it work with what i have... as for right now the trucks has single 5 inch stack wich sounds really nice but im hoping with this larger down pipe i can get rid of that squashed factory down pipe and turn up my fuel a bit...

i never got around to reposting what the out come was with the product... i recieved the 3" down pipe soon after i made the topic but i waited to put it on until i recieved my 4" exhaust that was ment for a 94.5-97powerstroke... i installed the new downpipe and the nice part was i didnt have to do much to make the whole thing work. If im not mistaken i cut maybe 1"-1.5" of the downpipe with that it slid into the rest of the exhaust then all i had to do was get that spot welded and i was good to go ... After the exhaust and my ram air n drop in k&n filter i felt the truck wake up Big time... well anyways if any of u guys want to kall banks to see if they still offer the downpipe all u have to do is give them that part number remember they may not make the downpipes anymore but they may still have a few laying around....part #52103
