exhaus manifold temp

exhaus manifold temp

Over the past week my truck has lost a considerable amount of hp. On the drivers side when i temp the exhaust manifold on that side im in the 160s on the passenger side im in the 230s. Is it bad injectors or do i have an even bigger problem on my hands?

It may be something as simple as bad wiring to the injectors. Have you looked at the wiring and connectors where they plug into the valve cover. Check for burnt pins and melted connectors. You can unplug 2 injectors at a time by unplugging either the front or rear connection to narrow it down as to which injectors are not firing.

All of the injectors seem to be firing and spitting the same amount of oil out.

I ran the truck with the valve covers off .

My power sarted to drop after i did the 10k mod. I took it out and then i have even less power, but i am still confounded about the temp dif from drivers side to passenger side.

was the drop in power immediate or progressive? how long did it take? does the truck run rough? smoking white at all? we need more details as to the issue at hand

Over about a week its slid down hill . No smoke Runs smooth put a new cps in about 3 days ago to try to fix the problem

If i put a 22k resistor in i get some power back but i have a miss when i let off the pedal and it comes back to idle. It also feels like i am not getting enought fuel when it gets above 2000rpm with the 22k resistor in.
