Exclamation tranny issues
If any one can help i would really appreciate it alot! I have a 97 f350 4x4 and the tranny started acting up last night under normal driving conditions! At the same time the abs light came on, the speedo quit working, and the overdrive light started flashing. It shifts really hard when it decides that it wants to shift. Im wondering if its a computer problem or if the trans is going out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The vehicle speed sensor in the rear axle is probably bad. It will cause all your symptoms. Mine went bad last year and did the same thing. Replaced it and all was fine afterwards.

since the overdrive light flashed then you have codes stored. get them pulled and you will have a much better idea as to what is wrong
