waxing new paint

I painted my 71 f100 about 14 days ago with PPG acrylic enamal. How long should I wait before I put a coat of wax on it? Also I've read alittle about color sanding to get out imperfections. Is this something I could do?

90 days before waxing. You can wetsand and buff out dirt nibs, and orange peel (texture). Wetsand with 1500 grit (or finer), buff with electric or air buffer.
