IP part

Hey everyone,
I was installing my IP back on my truck and broke the elbow on top for the return line. Anyone have one kicking around or know where I can find one?

Any store that sells hydraulic fittings will be able to get you back in buisness cheap. Just take the pieces with you.

I checked a couple stores today with no luck. Does the return line have a lot of fuel pressure in it? I was thinking I could just get a fitting with a barb on one end to thread into the IP and then run a hose to the metal tube. Would that work?

Checked a few places today for the part with no luck. I even visited my local International and Ford shops and they couldn't even help me. None of the salvage yards have any older vehicles there. I'm kinda lost cause I wanna drive my truck!!

I would not be afraid to rig something like you are talking about.
If I was at home I could send you one but hearing that does you a lot of good huh.

Blah, Blah.....the thought counts. I have one more place i'm having someone check out tomorrow. The only thing i've found is that the threads aren't standard but metric and there aren't many metric fittings around. Its always something!!!

Lowes had a thing that had all diferent size nuts and bolts on a panel and the small ens screwed into a metric thread. They didn't have one big enough for the other end.

If they have a straight fitting it would work. As long as the line going in wont kink you should be fine.

They aren't metric threads, it's a pipe thread, I can't remember the size off hand, 1/8th maybe? Been a while since I snapped mine off and spent a few hours trying to find the right parts to patch it together.
