Door Tag/ door plate
So trying to determine a few things on my newly aquired '77.
I've already determined that my motor is a 351w (seller said it was a 351c...I really didn't think it was, but I didn't care. It starts and runs great)
Anyhow, I have been able to go through the VIN and get that decoded, but I'm trying to get the axle code verified.

B - Dark Jade Metallic
F143 - F150 4x4 with 6350 GVW
DR4 - D = Knit/Vinyl bench seat. R = Jade. 4 = Styleside pickup box.
1 - No trans. code has a "1". It's supposed to be a letter.
16J - Ford 9" 3750 lbs capacity, 3.50 open axles. J - Power steering.

No "I" either. Closest letter is "J" which is a Ford C4 automatic transmission. That could be used with a 300, so maybe.
