Just thinking about what I wanna get finished on the vehicles before summer this year, and thought it would be nice to hear what you guys are working on.
I would like to get my shortbox going this summer. Now that all depends on how busy I get with work and whatnot though. I need something other then the PSD for doing some cruising from time to time!
Where do I start......
My 56 M100 is going to get lots of attention in the next few weeks before I get busy in the spring.
The 68 Mustang convertible needs, among afew other things, an accelerator pump diaphragm, it leaks. The 67 fastback wants some tlc.
The Model T needs a Bendix.
The Ford 800 tractor needs afew days work before the spring`s grass cutting season begins.
The 72 F350 still needs a distributor replacement.
The 56 F350 could use some tlc.
The 90 Ranger needs a drive shaft U-joint replacement.
The list goes on from here......
This isn`t the complete list, only what I can remember at the moment.
No worries though, only some of this will get done before my spring work season begins and some after.
Thanks for the offer.
While I`ve got a complete spare 87 Super Cab parts truck I`ve already got a new one sitting here, they`re really very inexpensive.
i was thinking of doing that, but the more i think of it, the less i like the idea. at the most, i'll do intake/exhaust, some fender flares and meatier rubber but keep stock height. its hard enough now to get tools and stuff into and out of the box... i don't off road, so more clearance is pointless.
well im gonna keep workin on my 79 4x4... still havent put the headers and exhaust in the truck yet, so i gotta do that... i have a dual steering stablizer kit waiting here too... gotta finish welding up my rear bumper, would like to get a winch so i can start on the front bumper... fix more of the electrical mess under the dash and hopefully put some kind of radio in it so i can put the interior back together... and finally change the plugs, wires, cap and do an oil change
correct. typically a spacer that fits between the shock/strut and the mount. cheap and easy lift to clear larger tires. the thing i'm not liking about them is how it changes all the geometry on the front end. while most guys say it doesn't affect the wear and tear, i think that the increased angle on the parts will cause premature failure.
