Yeah that wouldnt be bad to extend then! I was just sitting here thinking, to extend the metal deck for just one foot, might not be worth all the trouble!

Metal is alot easier, at least for me, to extend than wood.
Remember for truck decks, steel is real and wood ain`t that good...........If wood is too short you throw it away, with steel you just grab a welding rod.
Having said that I still like a wood deck surrounded by a steel frame on the outside of the deck.......

I dont mind a wood deck either, both have their plus's and minus's.

I need the little blue pill some days...
I got the 72 F350 fired up today except while there`s good fuel pressure right up to the carb there`s there`s no fuel getting into the engine so possibly a stuck or dirty float. I`ll check that out tomorrow in the day light.
Also the right hand exhaust manifold gasket is leaking from being burnt out.
So that`s two things down today with getting the Ford tractor purring but about 5,000 more to go!

Today I headed to the farm. Was going to work on getting my W4 back on 4 tires. but first I needed to get the the rim and tire off my parts tractor. Actually had a good day got the rim and hub primmed up just need to assemble the new rear tire and good to go.
Other then that next weekend Im going to do some work on the 1958 International (mainly wiring and interior).
Then Im putting the motor back into my 1947 Mercury and sending my 1949 Mercury away to get finished.
---Then---
when I take a week off for seeding
work on the 1947
get Mercury gravel truck running
1967 project time (with the hoped up 390)
