I purchased a 1966 Ford F-100 this weekend and my first project was to figure out what was causing the headlights not to work. All parking lights work put when i pull the switch all the way out for the headlights to come on, the front parking lights go out and the headlights don't come on. Anyone have idea's on where to check for a short? Thanks.

When you get it fixed post a closing here on this thread.

In the still cool hours of the night, you can hear chevys rusting away.
On my '66 I had a similar problem. After many hair pulling hours I found out it was a bad dimmer switch. I think that had something to do with the salt and sand they use here in Minn. in the winter.
My '66 was actin' kinda funny when the cold weather started, so i laid into the switch w/ some contact cleaner and ran it in and out a bunch of times then i followed it up w/ some wd-40.........so far.....so good
