I have a 93 F150 w/ 5.0, E4OD and the 1356. The single piece rear drive shaft is a slip yolk into the transfercase.
After searching the forum, only one other had a similar problem, but with a different tcase/tranny setup.
My driveshaft yolk, where it goes into the transfercase has some side to side movement in it. Not real bad yet, but enough to cause me some concern.
My question is:
Is there a replaceable bushing inside the tailshaft/extension housing that supports the driveshaft yolk that could be responsible for the side to side movement?
