Damn IPR Valve
So I finally get the chance to change out my HPOP and put in my 17* pump. Got the old one out ready to put the new one in. And the IPR valve will not go in the new pump. The electrical connector on it hits the housing on the new pump. Unsure how they expect you to get the IPR in there. Thought about just grinding the housing down so it will fit , but unsure how thick the housing is and don't want to ruin a good pump. ANy Idead?

Put the grinder away. Both pumps use the same IPR so there's no reason it wont fit. Have you tried taking the sheetmetal nut off, removing the magnetic coil and putting the coil back on with the connection facing the other direction?
