keypad unlock.
Hey, on my new to me xlt f150, i do not have the keypad unlock on the doorhandle. What i was wondering is if i could find the door handle with the keypad and install it on my truck if it would work. does it wire in a bunch of wires or does it just take a 12v+ and ground and transmit like the remote.
If anyone knows if this can be done or where to find the parts lets here it.

If you have the power locks and windows I think the plug is already there. You just need the door handle with a keypad and then have the dealer reprogram it. I think I saw a stick on keypad that is wireless, not sure how it works. Do a search.

but yes, essentially you install the keypad on your door, plug it in and visit a dealer. Most dealerships aren't aware this is possible though, so you may have to "convince" them that it is
