grrrr i cant remember his name off hand but i know he runs 800ish on fuel only.

Zane koch of Wide Open Performance is the fastest PSD so far. There are plenty of other HOT hot 7.3 around though. And more being built everyday with new tech and new ideas all the time. Gale Banks says its a dead platform. Just proves he's and idiot! Duramax....So easy Gale Banks can do it.....
i think i was reading out there some where a guy threw some stupid crazy money at one ad put around 1500 hp through one i think it is a pulling truck called double time or something like that.

yep I have a very hard time calling that engine a PSD still. Yes its a Ford and Yes its a 7.3 block heads and crank but thats where it stops. Still cool but I don't know that its in the same class as my engine.
That truck is called Double Overtime and it is more custom than not and when i mean custom its a 7.3 Block with custom heads which practically allow it to use dodge injectors with twin P pumps and some wicked nasty twin turbo's and last time i checked when he is runnin down the track pullin the sled he is blowin about 4 times more smoke out of his wastegate than my truck constantly lol.
Zane Koch of Wide open Performance Dyno'd 871 IIRC: YouTube - WOP Race Truck makes 871RWHP!!! 7.3 Power Stroke
I believe Cale was over 900... but i think most of us know what happened to his engine...
Greg (aka Dockboy, don't know if he's on this site) made nearly 900 before ventilating his block and now runs a cummins in his ford.

Well, technically the new PSD's woudln't be psd's then if they are pizio fired as well not HEUI.
he built a custom injector setup from scratch.
It's one of the baddest trucks, IMO.
But as for a true 7.3 PSD, it techncially is not. It still is a 7.3 international setup.
Just, a bit custom. And creative, not just a banks tuner thrown on cause Durasmacks are easy to get power from.
All in all, it isn't dark side, its Ford at heart.
That is all we gotta remember. =)
From what I've read and heard (thanks tim1) you just cannot get big big power out of a PSD HEUI setup easily due to restrictions from the HEUI system.
Can someone explain to me what the HEUI system is (and what it stands for)?
I think i heard how it works a long to ago, but i can't seem to remember now. Grrr.
