I really wouldn`t like to use spacers on a truck. I did it once years ago on an F100 and while it worked fine I never did really trust those spacers, I took them off after one
summer.
Did you actually notice anything with them on there, or was it just stuck in your head? I know for me it would always be in the back of my head that they were on there.
AJ, if it weren't for the cummins, the dodge wouldn't even be worth mentioning... get yourself the equivalent truck in a dodge as mine, (not diesel vs. gas, 1 ton vs 1/2 ton) and i'd gladly show you who makes a real truck.
i'm not talking bumper to bumper... thats stupid and wrecks stuff. i'm not on for wrecking my truck. i say we each load a trailer with 10k and pull it to regina and back. see who does it with ease, ability and affordability
I saw a '00 7.3l go up with a dodge cummins of the same year at the trucks pulls they had back home for Langham days(back when both trucks where new) . Both trucks were 3/4 ton 4X4 ext cabs. The guy with the dodge was flapping his gums before the pulls so I told a guy I knew to get to get his 7.3l
Well the 7.3 out pulled the dodge by about 12-15 feet but the tranny was cooked in the dodge after his second try, his wasn't moving and his tires weren't spining as the truck was reving.
ive never seen the later model 7.3 compete with the same year cummins, but I have seen firsthand a early nineties dodge and ford diesel go at er. The stock cummins has fords number down low, but stock, it loses when ya go faster.
That all changes when ya throw a chip on there though. Ive seen stock cummins trucks go insane with a chip, or stacked chips on them.
AH just rufflen your feather their Sherm. I could be bother to do that young and dum stuff with trucks . I know what it will cost if you break stuff. Yah the dodge automatics are junk my cousin at home had his rebuilt 3 years ago and it fried again I think he said it was going to cost him about 3500. to get it fixs, but I think some of it is self inflicted. He's under 30 and still like's to play in the snow and mud.
