On a car I think the best looking wheels are the police package wheels on Ford CV police interceptors and Chevy Impalas.

Steel wheels with additional ventilation holes...with the hub covered by a plain jane hub cap.

These wheels look like serious business and with the extra ventilation aid in brake cooling.

I prefer steel wheels....cheaper to replace or fix if you bend a wheel hitting a curb on the ice.

They were selling take off rims and tires from the trucks they turned into the Boyd Cottington trucks for $800 a set at Capital Ford. Not sure if there is any left or what kind of tires they were, all I know is that they had hardly any miles on them and were 17" rims

At -30 I don`t really care what my rims look like, most of the time they`re covered with salt and potash.......
At $800 it`s probably alot less than a set of tires alone Marlon, I don`t think they`ll last very long depending on how many sets they have to sell.

that would be a good deal. there's a website that sells new-take-offs in the 6-800 vicinity. i'd really like to find a set of the lincoln 20" rims and tires for summer...

I have a set of stock steelies, and a really good set of mt/r's sitting around for my PSD. I hate the look of steelies too though.

Kinda funny how I have a more expensive set of tires sitting off to the side for a back up then the ones that are on the truck!

I might have a chance to buy a set of Harley Davidson rims with useable rubber for my 05 F350 Crew.
Anyone know what the difference is between my stock Lariat mags and the HD rims?

They`re both 18'' rims, I`m wondering what they look like. Guess I`ll find out tomorrow.
Now if only a Lincoln pick up grill would fit it........

Bummer, these HD wheels are identical to my Lariat wheels but cheap enough I`ll buy them to have a spare wheel just in case I need one. New they`re $1,100 each and I can get a set of 4 for alot less.

Too cheap to turn down.....
They`ll fit your truck with spacers.

I wouldnt use spacers.

I would just be careful for how "cheap" they are, you can get aftermarket ones for pretty cheap brand new!

Sherm are you picking on Dodge's WELL I see I will have to tie my Dodge on to that ford of yours and drag it around the parking lot at timmie LOL . Fuel mileage I think know that fuel prices are ajusting were diesel is lower again the old dog isn't so bad to be driving. And that question about spacer and wheels don't go their that's asking for problems. That just about as bad as using recap tires for the steer tires , an acciedent waiting to happen. Roy
