i have a funny cab squeak it sounds like its coming from the driver side near the windshield or firewall. it only squeaks when i go down bumpy roads or when my cab twists with the truck on uneven ground, my friend has the same truck and squeak. along with an 89 i had in high school and various other trucks with the same cab style. what is this noise? and when i am going down a rough road and its really acting up, i can push the brake pedal while holding steady speed with my right foot and the squeak will go away instantly. let off brake pedal and comes right back. its definately somewhere in the cab. i noticed that the chrome trim around my windshield is rubbing the paint off where it meets the cowl behind the hood. could this be the cause? how would i fix it?
How about wind noise coming from that same general area? It sounds like it's coming from behind the head light switch. I've had the dash off when I was installing gauges and couldn't find a darn thing. It seems when I'm going with the wind it's not as bad or not there at all, but against the wind or 60 miles an hour with no wind and I can hear it pretty bad.

That'll the 2 that you can see here, just above the filter and to the rear of the hood spring.
Yea, That worked for me. Tighten the two bolts and your done. Thought for sure it was shocks or some front end promlem.

Yep, thats where my noise is coming from. Small dent where the mirror mounts to the door. Someone clipped the mirror. It messed up the body where it runs along the bottom of the wing window knocking the whole thing out of wack causing air to whistle by. VERY annoying at hi-way speed.
well this is the best thread all week you guys fixed my problem as well i thought it was my shocks too what would i do without fte 94-97 psd forum thanks fellas
i have them in my tool box, and i actually did the bottom one and it helped, just need to find a time when i can get somebody to help me align my door afterwards again. First time we ran out of time, i had to go to work, so we aligned the door where it would open and i left for work... i got to fix my door cable too
