When going down the road, around a turn, or over a gutter, the bed shakes, squeaks and moves. Not the suspension shakes, but the actual body of the bed is visibly shaking.
At first I thought the squeaking was from the cab mounts, but when I looked at them the rubber is in great shape and nothing appears to have rotted. It sounds as though it is coming from the area where the cab ends and the box starts.
I checked all the bolts for the bed from the underside and everything appears nice and tight.
I dont mind the shaking bed, however the squeak when the body flexes drives me crazy.
Unless your missing bolts to hold down your bed, or something is rotted through, the bed doesn't move at all, it's the cab that moves on the rubber mounts, and it looks like it's the box that's moving around.
The bed is bolted directly to the frame while the cab is on mounts.
I guess that could be. I have a spray in liner that was sprayed over the bolts.
I guess I need to clean off around the bolts and have a look. I dont thin it is the bolts though. I cant lift the bed off the frame or simulate it while the truck is stationary.
Could a cab mount be bad even though it appears in good condition from looking at it under the truck?
Well, if your cab is listing to starboard I'd say you have at least one bad mount. I'd just replace them all and I bet that'll take care of that squeak.
I can hear mine once in while, but that's because the PO used to throw a lot of wood at the front side of the bed causing it to bow outwards in the middle which is rubbing the cab

Yeah mine is the same way. I've been meaning to fix that with a come-along...
A 2" ratchet strap will take care of it on a Ford. I fixed a bent up Dodge bed with my hands. These things bend forward relatively easy, just bend them back and be done. Strap your loads down and don't let the fork truck drivers push **** up too far.
i put a piece of foam on when i was going to the loading dock, still bent it but not so it touches the cab, what i would like to know is how a hole got cut into the fenderwell in the bed while i was away from the truck
