changing bf1212 filter??

When u change these do you pinch off the hoses on either side or just remove and let pan catch the diesel?

I pinch the hose with a vise grip, on the tank (inlet)side. Open the drain valve,drain to pan and then remove filter.

I just drain it, turn it and screw a new one in it.

If you don't know, you don't have them. I'd tell you but I would have to kill you.

Seriously, some of us have an In Tank Kit. Search Hutch and Harpoon mods. When we remove the tank filters, we have to have an external filter so debris doesn't get sucked into the pump, wreck it and clog up the main filter.
