Just replaced my 6637 filter. It needed it. I forgot to change the filter minder and in looking at it I'm wondering why I need to do it. Looking at 'guzzle's ' install instructions, mine looks different than his, i.e. mine doesn't have what appears to be a hose connection provision. Also, even though the filter was crudded up, the filter minder said 'all is well'.
They are pretty useless.. your filter has to be totally full of crud to show on the filter minder. Better way to go is get a standard vacuum gauge and just tap it into the intake somewhere. but if you are on this forum you probably keep an eye on the condition of the filter and change it as needed...

Guzzle modded his filter to install the filterminder. If yours doesn't have the wires going to it, toss it and forget it. If you do have the one that is wired into the truck, zip-tie it out of the way to keep the dash light off.
