Hello all. I am looking for a nice set of guages without the tuning. I am keeps the truck stock except for a catback exhaust so I can keep my warranty valid. The truck has plenty of power for what I do plus I am a weenie and cant afford to fix a broken truck all the time. thanks for your input....
I am pondering the DASHDAQ and Edge insight. WHAT ois the most BANG for the BUCK !!!!! ??????
DashDAQ. Your typical OBD-II monitors aren't going to be able to monitor what this can monitor and that is because you don't have to get a license for sensor enhancement like you can with the DashDAQ for the Insight or the others. This picks up not only your generic DTCs, your ABS, TCM, FICM and it can monitor a crap load more the the OBD-II monitors that I've seen on the market, both from personal experiance and with what others have had.
The only way you'll get better coverage outside the DashDAQ is if your get the Ford License for the AutoEnginuity program(which is another product I recommend, never leave home without it).
I think Ford is included in the popular enhancement package with the dashdaq about 550 for the package. I think, I'm not sure, I got my setup because I'm beta testing a tuner that uses the DashDAQ as a platform for it. Autoenginuity is about 225 for the software and 140.99 for the Ford license. If you have it setup to where you can use your laptop, you could run the autoenguity like you would your dashdaq.

Autoenginuity is the closest that you'll get to factory software.
