Fuel pump relay

Anyone know where the fuel pump relay is at on a 03' Ex with 6.0 ?
Its getting a P0278 code and thought I'd start there ........

P0278 is an injector code which is probably NOT fuel pump related (maybe less than a 1% chance). Sounds more like an injector going south. What are your specific symptoms?

I noticed on another post that you had alternator problems. Be watchful for signs of a FICM failure. Often times a FICM failure follows electrical problems. With a FICM failure you will get multiple injector codes and sometimes a P0611 code IIRC.

Also, after the alternator problems did you load test your batteries?

Well first I do have the P0278 code but also have a P0232, also involved are two diffrent Ex's.
Mine hade the bad alt. But now I'm working on a friends and it has the codes, I suspect the fuel pump messed up the relay ( found aluminum shaving in the primary filter ) and there is no fuel to the engine, I had the secondary filter cap off while cycling the ignition ...

you can check fuse #40(fuel pump) to see if it's blown..i don't believe the FP relay is serviceable..

you can check for for power to the pump by pulling off the plug on the forward end of the HFCM, and chcking for 12v at the harness..
