gps mount
Has any one had any experience with the Tom Tom gps mount that clips to the right side of the dash? It seems like it is at a pretty bad angle for comfortable viewing. I'm trying to find a mount for my Tom Tom 930 that doesn't attach to the windshield or use the bean bag on the dash route. What have you guys done? Thanks in advance, John

I have one that clips to the dash to the right of the steering column. The angle is fine for me.

That sounds like it is different than the one that clips all the way to the far right of the dash. Can you tell me where you got that one? I think it would work for me also.

I just got some clear lexan and cut a circle the size of the windshield suction cup. Used some double sided tape to stick it to the top of the dash. My 930 stays right there and looks great! If I don't need it then I just have the little lexan circle.

Also, I can keep my hand on the wheel and use the touch screen!

Cost: $5 for the lexan and 3m tape.
