yea you definately need to race him-every time i see a cummins or a dmax its on like donkey kong oh and other powerstrokes as well sometimes i get em pretty good but i live in the city where most of them are stock but it feels good beaten a newer truck

Ya well i am definately going to race him, dont know when but it'll happen (im gona try to get him to hook them up to). The reason i posted this thread was just to see what you all thought or anyone had raced one. Back to the chevy thing i hooked up to a big 2500 6.0 gas on pavement a while back and pulled him back and all i heard was excuses. All my buddies hav chevy gassers and think that the d max is Gods gift to the world.

I suppose if the GM product weighed as much as your Ford......

Besides, dragging someone around ISN'T a valid test.

Agreed, hooking your trucks together proves nothing... the first one to break traction will lose every time. If you want a contest, run them against each other. For a real good test, hook 8k onto the hitch and find a hill and see who makes it to the top with the least amount of struggle.

8k? why bother with only 8k? try 15k or more. you may loose a driveshaft, ujoint, and catch it on fire but eh, at least it make you one part closer to a new truck haha.

my old fence building boss had an '08 LMM and i rode in it with a bully dog programmer in it and i would spank that thing around like the panzee it is!! hahahahahaha. my buddy roy and i raced a new LMM awhile back now that i think off it. i let him have the jump from 60 and still caught up and spanked me some chevy bootayyyyy!!!!!! that was fun.. i need someone to race!!!!

ya i want to soon but all the suddne my cel is going on. Its the hpop or ipr its throwing a p1211 and dont know what to do bout it? The truck dies top end and he will smash me now. I timed my 1/4 mile on my edge evo and it was like 17.4 or sumtin, it really dies out top end now?

wow, 17.4?!?!?!?! that's .3 seconds better than my truck was stock dude. we gotta get that figured out!! probably runnin' out of oil on top end from the HPOP. quick change to an adrenaline or SD HPOP will help ya out. if you happen to have a spare IPR swap it out and see what it does, but i have never had an IPR do that to me before.
