what sponsor has dynamat or something similiar I have a box but to get anymore Id have to drive all the way home to lexington to buy some at wholesale cost
and how much should I need to do a single cab (doors, floor, and posts)....I have done this on many cars but im not sure how much I need for this truck and where are the bad areas for vibration plus I'm tired of hearing all the rattles from my sub
I wouldnt use dynamat. Check ebay for sound deadening material. There was a ebay store that sold a lotta square feet of their product in a kit pretty cheap and its basically the same stuff without the brand name...
There are a lot of options for sound deadener. When I did my F150 single cab, it took bulk pack (36sq ft) to do the floor and roof and a door kit for the doors. It didn't do the pillers or much of the back wall. I'd say have 50sq ft handy easy.
I was only around Fatmat once, a kid in my MECP class did his trunk. It smelled worse than peel and seal, it could have been July in florida or a bad batch or it could just stink that bad. So far dynamat hasn't stunk in the three or so batches I've used.
