if headers off a 1985 ford 351 HO will fit on a 1996 351W? i can get a good deal on some and would like to know if they fit!! all help appreciated, thanks
Yeah, the question is what model was the '85 351 HO in and what model was the '96 351 in. By the way, the '85 351 HO and the '96 351 you have are both 351Ws.
If you are talking about to similar trucks and the price is cheap, buy them and see if it works. If the '96 you are talking about is a F350, you might have problems, The Dana 60HP causes clearance issues with many longtube headers. I know the Flowtech longtubes will work, but a lot of others will not. I have heard the E4OD can cause clearance problems between the pan and collector, so this is another place to look if you have an E4OD.
they are both f150s..the headers are made by doug thorley..my truck has the e40d, im not sure about the 85..i think im going to buy them and see if the fit..if they dont i will just re-sell them.
alright, they came off of a 2 wheel drive. They are the longtube headers, and it has an egr fitting on them as well. im pretty sure they will work..what do you guys think? im new to these ford trucks, ive always been a chevy guy
