More VSM issues

The radio and interior light stay on after the truck is shut off. can not lock doors with key fob or lock switch and door ajar light stays on and my lights only work manualy There is also a slow drain on my battries. tried wd40 in the locks worked them by hand and respayed multiple times. I even took the door panels off to check the connections. The dealer did 2 pin point tests and came up with the same thing. I talked to a former ford dealership and they had seen this before but not very often but they are not a dealership anymore prob because they were reasonably priced and u could talk to them like u were equals.
Hiflyer746 - It could be that the dealership didn't program the VSM correctly. On the other hand, I remember someone saying in the past that the GEM is still located in the 2002 model they just integrated it into the gauge cluster. Someone correct me if I'm wrong there. If it is that could be your problem.

The VSM communicates its input information(door switches) to the gauge cluster via a network cable and the gauge cluster actually has the relay inside for the dome lights. . . and the ajar light.

Got my truck back today. It had a bad VSM and they had to fix some soldering in the gauge cluster total $561. Everything works now doors never used to lock automaticaly when driving but do now. twelve month warranty on everything we will see
