My steering is actually pretty tight.

This is strictly TEMPORARY!!! lol.

Im saving for the beams and other necesities, but im so tired of looking at my truck with the **** end lower than the fron :/

To cut them im going to use a grinder with a 5" cutoff wheel. I have spring compressors to get them out of the truck.

Once again, this is strictly temporary.

I really appreciate everyone's input and advice. This is such a great website to belong to. Everyone here is helpful and knowledgable. Id honestly be screwed if I hadn't found this site.

Thanks everyone!

Whew, I was cringing thinking I was going to hear the remark "I'm cutting them with a torch". A cutoff wheel works better, just try not to build up too much heat. But you shouldn't be bad off that way.

I can understand the OP doing what he is doing, he doesn't like the reverse rake, don't blame him if he wants to haul things.

My question to the OP, is you want to level out your ride, and give it a little rake. Have you thought about a rear shakle flip?

Or are you trying to get some rake with a lower more aggressive looking stance?

It's a FRONT hanger flip. Which after the procedure you would need angle shims to reset the pinion angle.

You dont need a spring compressor , you dont even need to take the springs out to cut them , why bother with extra work .

Heck, you beat me to it. LOL :)

If he wants to level out the pickup...
He can undo what he did to the rear when he lowered it. ;)

Agreed, I used cut-off wheel the second time, (didn't have enough beer to use the hacksaw again!) and just un-bolt the shock, unbolt 2 bolt for spring, and drop it down.

I was refering to raising the back end up to level. That was why I asked if he was just looking for forward rake and lowering it. If he wasn't too concerned about lowering and just getting the height leveled, then that was why i was referring to the flip. If he is looking to drop it overall then I guess that wouldn't be the route he wants.
