Extended front brake lines 77' F250

I'm finishing up a 3" front lift on my 1977 F250 Supercab complete with extended coils & shocks, re-bent ibeams, etc.. I haven't put the front 33" tires on yet, though I may (or may not) need extended front brake lines. Just doing my homework ahead of time in case I do need to get those extended lines. Not sure of the exact diameter of my present lines (it uses dual piston calipers, if that makes a difference), though any ideas on what F-series vehicle would have the same diameter lines with an overall longer line? Or where would be a good place to start my search?

Thanks in advance.

You might try 4x4 such as a highboy or buy steel braided. Highboy would be longer and have the correct style fitting. I believe they use the same dual piston caliper.

Incidentally, a 'Highboy' would qualify as a F250 4x4 within the years of 67' to 77.5? These stock front brake lines would all be the same as my 2WD?

Should be 76-77.5 because the highboys did not have disc brakes till 76. The 76 till early 77 were disc. 77.5 and after were lowboys, they did not need longer brake hoses. Same thing with the rear.

Sorry for the delay. Attached a few pics. Will send more when complete. Just waiting for a bushing for my drag link/tie rod connection (impossible to find!) and the extended brake hoses. The bent I beams, coils, shocks, new drag link all came from John over at AutoFab....great kit.

Here's a pic of my brake hose and the one that I just ordered from 'Bronco Graveyard'. The new one fits a 1976 F250 4x4, but the end is a completely different angle from mine. Hope to make it work, can't find a Highboy front brake hose that matches my odd angled end...

Ok, now I can see the problem. My thought if it were me would be to move that bracket from the rear of the spring bucket to the front. I woul problably use a new steel brake line to do this. It look's lik it bolt's on, then I would use the hose you bought. Alittle creative line bending would be a cure. I am sure there are other's, but this comes to mind right now.

Hey um I have a 77 F250 high boy and when I go to part stores to get the front rubber brake hoses they are always to short. Any idea where I can get ones that will fit?

It seems like I've read somewhere that the 2wd hoses work and are longer than the 4x4 brake hoses?

I hope someone can chime in and enlighten all of us on this matter as I am about to install a 6" lift I got that didn't come with extended hoses.
