I just called a friend that works at a shop and the cheapest he can give them to me is 180 a piece so I'm just stuck on what to get I like the optimal cause they're sealed and don't have to worry about them when I do go offroading
I just changed out the originals from my 99 last january. I couldnt believe how long they lasted. I now run the auto zone duralast golds like the ones above. I could have sworn they also had free roadside assistance with those but I could be wrong.
I just replaced mine with Duralast Golds last night and man let me tell you; what a difference!!
It turned right over and took a few turns less to start too.
When I went to Autozone to turn in my dying batteries, I noticed that my Ford batteries (supposedly the best batteries for my truck) only had 750 CA and 750 CCA! All the more reason to get a battery with 1000CA and 875CCA and a 3-year no questions asked warranty.
I'm not too concerned about roadside assistance, your truck gives you fair warning when your batteries are dying. There's always an Autozone somewhere, so roadside assistance isn't that big a deal. As long as when I need a replacement they don't have a problem with my warranty like Ford does, we'll be ok.
