Clear Turn signals
Anyone other than LMC make clear turn signal lights to replace the amber ones in the grill? I just finished replacing the grill shell, grill, light buckets, headlights and polishing the bumper and the 30 year old ambers look a little out of place. LMC thinks they are worth $50 each and I am not supporting that.

Jeffs Bronco graveyard sells em to, but for $5 more a peice. Find out what company accually makes them, and I bet you could find other distributers. I have seen in person clear side markers and compleatly clear tail lights too about 5 years ago at Carlilse truck nationals, but dont know where the heck to find them at. NEVER seen them for sale anywhere. They werent homemade, because they had all the correct reflectors and what not, but no ford logo so they werent cast out of a mold @ home using factory peices either. Anyone got a clue on those?

Take the old lenses and soak them in hot soapy water, scrub thoroughly with a non abrasive brush.
After they are clean and dried off...use a plastic polish or tube toothpaste (I kid you not!) to polish them up.
The difference in the lenses will be remarkable. Most if not all the scratches will disappear, the lenses will look brand new.
The original amber lenses (D8TZ13200A R/S / D8TZ13201A L/S ) are obsolete.
$50 bucks each for replacements lenses ain't too bad when you compare that price with:
The last FoMoCo DEALER NET (cost) price was $61.28 each, the MSRP was $106.13 each.

I have seen them on e-bay before but can only find the tail lights and side marker lights at the moment, see link below. Try e-mailing this guy and see if he has the turn signal lenses your looking for. -Ed
