Key won't turn.
I Have a 98 Explorer and the key will not turn at all even tried turning the steering wheel with no luck. The theft light keeps blinking on the dash but I just got the vehicle and only drove it once so I'm not sure if that is normal. Any ideals???????

Might also try some WD 40 in the lock cylinder. Could be nothing more than a stuck tumbler in the lock. I've had this problem with my door locks but not the ignition. Not to say it couldn't be the problem her though. Cheap enough and easy enough to find out.
