Yea I had a problem with them some time back, so the controller is bypassed and I have them wired to a button in the truck and It has worked fine for a while now so i dont know what is wrong with the thing.
How do I know if I am on my TDC exhaust stroke or TDC compression stroke? I got the scribe line on the harmonic balencer right, and the "y" marks lined up and felt for the compression stroke. and the truck just turns and turns, not even a sputter. I get a fog of unburnt out the stacks, thats it. The only thing else I can think of is that some how my glowplugs stopped workin too. but idk?
Your prolly 180 degrees off. Usually they'll fire and run when 180 off.
I posted a link for the way to get the IP gear back on properly. Did You follow the directions?
Pull all of the Gp's, stuff a piece of plastic down the #1 GP Hole, turn the engine over with the crank bolt until the plastic pops out. Your on the compression stroke. Now align the timing mark. It's not the mark with the timing probe holder.
