Hurst Billet Plus Shifter

hey all ive got a 1990 b2 with a m5od tranny and i just got finished with the new heads and relized how horrible the factory shifter is,i found one for a 1990 ford ranger with a 2.9,i see no reason why this shifter wont work on the bronco...any input

Only one way to find out... buy it and put it in! Okay, seriously, though - if the transmission in those year Rangers are the same as what you have, it should fit. What's wrong with the one you have, is it just sloppy or? Might be time for an OEM replacement, but not sure of the cost difference - I know Ford parts houses carry the OEM shifter, but not sure if there are any other vendors that carry it for price comparison.

have you opened it up to see why its sloppy? might be a cheap $5 part.

shifter should work on your B2. It's the same tranny as the ranger, explorer, and F150.

well just in case anyone wants to know.....it works great...and is a thousand times tighter than the factory shifter!!!!
