I noticed today while bleeding my rear brakes(or trying too) that the rear diff cover looked wet. Took a closer look at it, and sure enough gear oil is present on the cover. It looks to have rusted through enough that the fluid is seeping through it. Looks like I'll be getting that '08 aluminum cover sooner than I thought. I love living in the RUST Belt.
Same regrets here Mark. Actually, we were leaving for vacation that day, so I stopped at a Ford dealer on the way up, bought a new cover, and changed it out in the parking lot
