hi im replacing my rear diff cover does anyone know how much gear lube it takes and am i better off use in syn. its a 2000 f350 drw 4x4 5.4 thanks

Depends on the differential expect 5-6 quarts.
Per my knowledge Ford allows synthetic oils only and they come in 2 weights for differentials. Start with checking the manual for sure.
