Alot of bad news lately, really sorry to hear, prayers sent to his family and friends..
I have a couple of friends who are diabetic and truck drivers. That could be a bad combination, if they had an episode. I pray that they take care of themselves. Not just for them, but also those around them. I really hate to hear about bad things happening to good people.
Everyone, please stay safe and take care of yourselves. "Bad news" is why I hate to watch the news channels on TV.
Prayers to the family.
My good friend was a diabetic and while driving down the road his blood sugar got low and hit 2 cars and kept on driving not realizing he had hit anything. The police finally got him to pull over and thought he was messed up on drugs and roughed him up a little, and put him in the back of their car while "conducting their investigation". Luckily a diabetic police officer pulled up on the scene and realized the signs of the low blood sugar while trying to talk to him. They got him in an ambulance and to the ER. Fortunately after a couple of hours he became coherent enough to give the ER personel our phone number where we could go to help him. Unfortunately when a diabetic's blood sugar gets low they have no idea what is happening.
Thats right Costa. You would sware they are drunk or on drugs. Lucky the one police officer know what to look for.

I may offend some here, but they are no less deadly than a drunk on the road. Sorry, they kill people. I guess some see the condition as an excuse, but they know they have it just like an alcoholic.
Curtis if you do attend the services please extend condelonces from us.
I plan to be there, and I will pass it on. Kirk's family has even been in contact with us on the Colorado Powerstroke Club page. I think they now realize how much he meant to us out here.

Yes it's true, if they don't stick with their medication. But I know of a lot of people with diabetes who currently drive every day without incident. Kirk was very careful about that too, and never had issues with driving. His death was completely unrelated to diabetes.
