I hope this turns out good. My son is a diabetic and I was called at 3:30 am a few weeks ago by the local sheriffs department. He had low blood sugar and straighten out a curve about 4 miles from our house. I know what you guys are going through. I hope this turns out good.
Kirk was found this evening from the information I received. He was deceased when he was found in a vacant building belonging to his company. The last I heard it had not been verified that it was him but he had been located via his cell phone. I will post more information on the Colo site for those that would be interested in attending services for him. Kirk will be dearly missed esp by me.

JD,
I saw and spoke with Rick's son at a our last PAA meeting. He is doing fine. Can't say much for his S-10 pickup. He seems to have come out OK. He already has a different "set of wheels" now.

This is very sad. Our thought's and prayers will be with the family.
Prayers to the family.
My good friend was a diabetic and while driving down the road his blood sugar got low and hit 2 cars and kept on driving not realizing he had hit anything. The police finally got him to pull over and thought he was messed up on drugs and roughed him up a little, and put him in the back of their car while "conducting their investigation". Luckily a diabetic police officer pulled up on the scene and realized the signs of the low blood sugar while trying to talk to him. They got him in an ambulance and to the ER. Fortunately after a couple of hours he became coherent enough to give the ER personel our phone number where we could go to help him. Unfortunately when a diabetic's blood sugar gets low they have no idea what is happening.
