Window felt wing gaskets

As I wrap up my fuel tank installation, I am looking forward to replacing the window felt, or cat's whiskers as they were known back in the day. I guess my question is, are there any pearls of wisdom you guys have to share on installing the new, taking out the old?

Well, taking out the old shouldnt be hard since it is about falling out.

Taking the door panel off, and secrets there? Start in one corner, order those plastic clip that hold it on?

Who has the best deal on this, and of good quality? Should I do the wing vents while I am at it, even tho they appear to be in decent shape? etc, etc,..... impute and thought appriciated.

I am going to search the forum and mabey find my answers, but sometimes is hard when titles are mislabeled. Anyhow thanks in advance!!

They are straightforward. You ought to figure it out as you're working on it.

Yes, vent wings are a good idea. Stop the damn whistles! How many pennies is there on the vent wing window?

Thanks bro, no pennies there yet, but I am sure it could use a few!! I have yet to get it up to speed, so there could be whistling going on that I have yet to try to talk over!

thanks again!!
