Door latch cable

one easy fix I came across which worked for me is to wrap 3 or 4 loops of wire around the cable It kinda acts like shortening the cable
wrap it just in front of the end knuckle

door handle cable

I need a door handle cable to fit a 1997 F250HD driver's side door. I have found one on Dennis-Carpenter but it says it is for a 1996 model. This is the OEM number F2TZ-15221A00A. Will that fit my application? Thanks Jack

Sure will. 1997 was a crossover year so it is always safer to search for parts for a 1996 to ensure you get the correct parts.

Side note, all the big box parts stores have the cable and typically have them in stock.. might save a couple $$ in shipping.

I bought mine at O Reilys. Around 20 bucks. It’s not complicated, just hard to get your hands in there.
