cab swap
i have a 92 f150 4x4 and the years of salt and offroading have killed the cab of my truck the floor and mounts are in vary bad shape i want to replace it !! will any reg cab truck cab work or do i need one for a 4x4 and dose the wireing harness unplug at the firewall ? any tips or advice would help greatly thanks

The cabs are all the same, just make sure to save the floor plate from old cab where the shifter comes thru at.....only issue you are going to have is the wiring harness. I forget where it disconnects, but I do remember having to strip alot of the interior to change wiring around on one a few years back. It might be easier to find a 4x4 cab with the same options as yours and just get everything with it. But if not, you can make it work with all your old wiring.
