sticky primer

I primed my hood last night and its still sticky. I'm sure I either did not add enough catalyst or didn't mix it up good enough. Will it harden on its own? I'm not in a huge rush so if it takes a day thats fine with me, I hope I don't have to redo it.

I am gonna say your gonna have to redo it. I have already seen this happen and it took weeks till it finally dried (It was a mudding truck so owner didnt care) Depending on what type of primer you use, it should be dry in as little as 10 minutes or 24 hours...no more.

Its finally dry! I sprayed last night around 7pm and it was dry today at 2pm when I got home from kids soccer. Is it okay to just sand and continue as normal?

Yup...continue as you normally would.

How your primer dried has alot with the catalyst and also the humidity and temp. When you paint, make sure you have the proper catalyst for the temperature you are gonna be spraying in.
