Tell me about it.
I need my truck to bring tools and materials to work with me (if I can find some)
It needs front pads, tires and universals, but without work I can't even afford this basic maintenance.
Plus, I have an A.I.R. pump to install, but I want to upgrade to a 160A 3G Alternator and a less noisy P/S pump at the same time.

I know.
In '82 I had a new Seca 650, a Ducati 900SS, a Ducati 250 MKIII, a GS 450ST, and the last of my RD400's.
Wiring looms were typically a rats nest of frayed, chafed, corroded and shorted spaghetti whose colors were so faded as to be indistinguishable IF the schematic you had was even correct.
Switch gear was pretty poor in that era as well.
more battling of the 80's engineers today. come on Ford....how many wires does it take to run 4 guages and some lights?!
we are 99% done under the hood though!
jim....i gutted an 89 bronco about 6 years ago. i saved all of the serpentine belt related brackets and accessories (planned on converting my v-belt bronco) i dragged the box out of the dust today with intentions of scrapping everything. there is an air pump, and a P/S pump in there. they were all functional when they went into the box, they are free to a good home with no warranty or give-backs i can get more info and pics if you'd like.
Morning Ray. Hopefully we will get to see the sun today. Bristol actually had thunder and lightning last night which means I don't get any sleep because the dog is bouncing off the walls.
