I have scoured the internet looking for the actual lbs torque setting on these plugs... So far I have 14lbs BOTH dry and with antisieze -- Which is impossible since 14 with antiseize is equivalent to almost 35 lbs dry
Then I also have heard to use 25 lbs ( but no one mentioned dry or with antiseize ) ...
I simply want to check all my plugs and see if they are loose - but figure that if I'm going through the trouble of checking all the plugs , then I might as well then just change them out in the process ... My concern :
1 - Should I use antiseize and if so what is the lbs torque I am setting my socket wrench to ??
Call & talk to the guy at (blownoutsparkplug.com).I think he installs motorcraft plug dry & torques to 28 ftlb. This guy knows whats up!!!!!!!!!Read his FAQ.
