single shot injectors

is it true that single shot injectors will give me the sound of the older 94-1999 7.3. i like they way they sound a bit rougher

it will, but also depending on the tuning, and size of the injectors that you going to install.

they will be clacking louder for sure, and you also gain some MPG...

You also gain some HP depending on the size you go with. But when you go to Single Shots you will need your chip programmed.

SCT programmer in your signature won't work anymore if you do go with single shots.

You'll have to use custom tuning to run singles.

Jody writes tunes for the SCT, right? Can't he put SS stick programs in it?

I don't believe that is the case anymore. I could be wrong but I seem to recall some EPA issues with his tunes on their stuff. Could have been something else entirely too, as some manufacturers never give the real reason they do things when the underlying reason is liabilty.
